Hi I'm Parmy!

I'm a Daz Studio Artist, who is here to start my #dream movement and to make my #dream into a reality.

Born and raised in Birmingham, I set my sights to start a movement of bringing #Dream into the world.

I'm not a gifted artist and I don't have any awards for my art. I'm just like you, a person with goals and dreams.

As a kid I've always been that person who loves to help out. It's something that my parents have instilled in me since I was a kid. My parents will go out of their way to help people.

My dad will drop everything and go help out family and my mum will go to the Gurdwara and help serve food, clean the kitchen and listen to problems of complete strangers.

This is the main reason why I decided to work as an IT Technician in a school. I'm serving others (children, teachers and parents) just like my parents.

Some drawings I did when I was a teenager.

My passion for art started when I was at secondary school. I loved art classes at school because I was doing something that was practical and creative. However, I found that my drawing skills left a lot to be desired.

I practised my drawing skills by copying character art from video game magazines. I struggled with my drawing skills and got frustrated (there was no Internet at this time) and therefore no tutorials to help me improve my drawing skills.

I decided to leave art behind, focus on my studies and get a job in the IT sector.

After 15 years of working in the IT sector I felt unfulfilled, something was missing. I went soul searching and found that I was most happiest when I was drawing and creating something.

In 2018 I decided to start my journey to create my own art and comic books.

I started learning how to use Photoshop. You may ask why Photoshop? Well, it is the most widely used software by professionals.

I then stumbled upon a YouTube video that showed a character being created in 3D rendering software. You may call this a fluke or luck, but I believe that this is fate and I was meant to find this video. The software turned out to be Daz Studio and the rest is history.

I've been using Daz Studio since December 2018 and have been creating art and short comic panels that I thought I would never be able to create.

While trying to find as much information as possible about Daz Studio, I realised that most of the tutorials and guides are out of date.

It was at this point that I created MYDART as I wanted to create a library of up to date tutorials and guides to help beginner Daz Studio artists to kick-start their journey.

I hope you see the value that these tutorials have provided, which will save you time, allow you to mastered key concepts and level up your skills in a short amount of time.

If you've made it this far, thank you for reading. I hope that you got to know more about me and the change that I will make to the world one person at a time.

Now it's time for you to kick-start your journey and realise your #dream!
